What are the payment methods? |

We accept payments by credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, JCB). We also accept payments by personal checks and money orders, but we can only place the order after the payment has been processed so the time it will take for the arrival of your order will be longer. |

We do not recommend sending your credit card information by e-mail. Please send us your credit card information by phone, fax or mail. |

Does GST and PST apply to all products? |

Only GST is applied to books and magazines. PST and GST is applied to multimedia products such as CDs, DVDs and LDs. For orders that are send outside of Canada, both PST and GST do not apply. |

| 2. Cancels and Returns |

Can I cancel or return ordered items? |

We do not accept changes or cancels on ordered items. Please place your order after you have confirmed your order. We do not accept returns either. |

What kind of products can I purchase? |
|
|
You can purchase: Japanese books and magazines, Seiko electronic dictionaries and multimedia products such as CDs, DVDs and LDs. (Excluding products intended for an adult (18+) audience, because we cannot import them due to Canadian rules and regulations.) |

Can I play Japanese DVDs on DVD players bought in Canada? |
|
|
At Iwase Books, we sell DVDs that are imported from Japan so you will need a DVD player that can play "region 2" DVDs. Please confirm your DVD player before you place your order. |

What kind of aftercare is available for electronic dictionaries? |
|
|
All Seiko electronic dictionaries being sold at Iwase Books come with a SEIKO USA warranty. If it is within the warranty period, and if it follows the SEIKO USA guarantee regulations, you can receive the repair service from them.。 |

| 4. Magazine Subscriptions |
|
|
How do you subscribe to a periodic publication magazine? |
|
|
We accept orders for single magazines as well as periodic (weekly, monthly, bi-annually etc) subscriptions. For a single magazine order, depending on the release date and title, it may take longer to arrive than usual. Please consent to this in advance.。
If you pay for you 6-month subscription in advance there will be a 5% discount and for 12-month subscriptions there will be a 10% discount. For Iwase Books members there will be a 10% discount for 6-month subscriptions and a 15% discount for 12-month subscriptions. For airmail subscriptions, the magazine will arrive in the same week or the week after the release date in Japan. For sea mail subscriptions, he magazine will arrive three to four weeks after the release date in Japan. Yet, depending on the magazine, there will be cases where the arrival of the first issue of your subscription will be late. Please apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your consent to this in advance.

Can I change or cancel subscriptions? |
